8. Oral Hemostatic Sponge
Scope of application: Used for hemostasis during oral treatments or care procedures such as tooth extraction, fillings, and dental implants. A sponge sheet made from freeze-dried chitosan aqueous solution, sterilized by Co60 irradiation. Available in various specifications from width x length 3x3mm to 80x100mm.
The oral hemostatic sponge is an essential consumable for dental clinics — after wisdom tooth extraction or dental implant surgery, placing one into the extraction socket provides much better hemostasis than gauze.
